Is Window Film Transparent?

We’ve written extensively about this subject this year. It’s a very common question from our San Francisco Bay Area neighbors and customers. The truth is: there is no completely clear window film. But there are not completely clear windows either. Almost all windows are manufactured with some sort of hue or tint, even if it is unperceived by the human eye. When it comes to window clarity, research shows that most humans perceive 60 to 70 percent visible sunlight transmission as 100 percent clear. There are ‘clear’ window films that don’t obscure your view to the outside world. ClimatePro would be happy to show you a few samples and explain the benefits. Or you can try our window film selector tool to compare.
