How To Find The Best Auto Window Tinting Shop

How To Find The Best Auto Window Tinting Shop

Given that ClimatePro does not offer any kind of automotive services or car window tinting, we thought we would share this list of recommended car window tinting providers in the San Francisco Bay Area. The list is not in any particular order, but we have provided the address so you can find the shop closest to you.

More than likely, you really care about your car, so you are taking steps to protect it from the sun’s heat and harmful rays. Here are a couple of tips when picking a car window tinting shop to work on your car.

  • Check the reviews. Look at Yelp and Google to see what other customers say about their experiences. Nobody is perfect, but the overall rating of the tint shop will give you a good idea of what kind of service to expect.
  • Experience is everything. There is no substitute for experience when it comes to auto window tinting. It’s either something you’re good at or not; there is no in-between. See how long the tint shop has been in business and most importantly, how long the actual technician that will do the work has been installing auto tint.
  • Get what you pay for. Do not be fooled by the $99 special. No tint shop can use quality products and do a good job for $99! Don’t be tricked into this scam; you will either get a horrible job, or you will have purple windows in a year. Don’t be that guy!
  • Get the warranty. If you go to a reputable tint shop, your window tinting will come with a warranty; make sure you get the warranty before you pay and leave the tint shop.

You can expect to pay anywhere from $150 – $200 for a couple of front windows to $400 – $600 + for an entire car, depending on the window film you select. Prices will vary depending on your area and the tint shop you choose. Don’t try and save a couple of bucks. Sometimes a small amount of money can mean the difference between an amazing job and a mediocre job. Go to a shop that makes you feel comfortable; even a full priced shop can lead you into problems if they’re not careful.
